Tramec Sloan’s innovative Sonogrip Plug features numerous anti-corrosion attributes that result in a superior, longer-lasting cable. Tramec Sloan designs & manufactures cables in the USA at our facilities in Iola, Kansas and Holland, Michigan. We can provide cables for a wide variety of applications and features that have numerous options including the cable jacket and plug bodies. Copper content is 10% greater than SAE J1128 requires resulting in better flexibility and connectivity. Meets SAE J560 & J2222. Stainless steel radial springs & split terminals provide the best long-term connection to receptacle pins. Terminals are ultrasonically welded, eliminating corrosion & loosening at the terminal-to-wire connection. The elastomeric plug body is solid-molded onto the cable with sealants to exclude moisture. Reinforced nylon or die-cast sleeve on the plug provides lasting durability. The pistol grip angled plug option offers strain relief to the higher-mounted plug, resulting in longer-lasting cables. Post-plated terminals are utilized for maximum corrosion protection. Features a 3-year warranty.
