Product Details
Oregon HL1-20 ¾” Keyless Sprocket System
The keyless frictional locking device family provides a high capacity, zero-backlash shaft-to-hub or coupling connection by means of a mechanical interference fit. Boasting exceptional concentricity and ability to transmit bending loads, as well as no axial movement during installation, the friction hub circumvents the shortcomings of traditional connection methods like shrink fits and keyways. These advantages also result in reduced shaft material and more lenient tolerances, which directly translates to less maintenance time and cost.
FEATURES
- Uniform Pressure Distribution
- Fittings for Smaller Shafts
- Keyless Hub
- Hex-head Set Screws
- No Space Between Sprocket and Shaft
BENEFITS
- Eliminates distortion and warping
- Allows for broader application
- Complete axial and radial adjustment, even over existing keyways
- No keyways failures, seize ups or shaft failures because of worn keyway
- Simple and quick installation, adjustment, and removal in the field
- True zero backlash shaft-to-hub connection
NOTES: The sprocket should be aligned to the drive shaft to prevent damage to the chain, bar, and sprocket. Mount the harvester bar to the machine. See the Oregon® Harvester Application Guide for specific information.
