Great American Inc. Is Going Pink!
At Great American Inc., we’re proud to announce our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October with our annual “Pink Out Day” on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at both branch locations. We’re going pink to show solidarity and raise awareness for this important cause.
Breast cancer touches many lives, and a significant number of our team members have been personally affected or have experienced it through close family members. We understand the importance of coming together to support those who are battling this disease, and we want to extend that support to our community.
What’s Happening on Pink Out Day?
- Pink Attire: From head to toe, our team will be decked out in pink. We invite everyone to join in by wearing your favorite pink attire to show your support.
- Pink Treats and Beverages: Enjoy a selection of pink-themed treats and beverages throughout the day. It’s our way of sweetening the cause and making the day a bit more fun.
- Door Prizes and Giveaways: We’ll be hosting exciting door prizes and giveaways as part of the festivities. Don’t miss your chance to win some fantastic prizes!
- Ribbon of Hope: We’re setting up a special station where everyone can write a “Ribbon of Hope” to offer encouragement and support to those battling breast cancer. These ribbons will be collected and sent to breast cancer patients to brighten their day and remind them they’re not alone.
- Raising Funds: Through October 31st, we will be selling Doleco USA Pink Winch Straps
and donating $1 per strap sold to Gertrude’s House. Dayton Parts powered by Dorman will be generously matching our donation.
